Default If you could do any color...

Imagine you were ordering your 996 Turbo new, choosing from standard, premium or any color via PTS, what color would you choose?

I've bought a very inexpensive 996 Turbo Cab, and planning to color change it (yeah, I know, blasphemy) Some days I like Zanzibar Red, other days I like Audi Nogaro Blue...

Maritime looks pretty close to that Nogaro and you'd be keeping it in the Porsche family.

That Bugatti Strong Blue was a big inspiration.

Definitely blasphemy.

I've always wanted to see a 996 in modegrau, though.

I would go with an Audi color called Suzuka Grey Metallic. You have to see in person to appreciate it. Pictures can't capture how good it looks.

Porsche already has one of the best blue colors of all. It used to be called Iris blue, but they changed it to Lapis blue. It is a pearl paint that changes in appearance depending on how light hits it.

+1, although most of the Lapis Blue examples I saw had the grey interior. Montego Blue Metallic from my 07 335i as a backup.

I like Porsche's Cobalt Blue, but as mentioned above, it is always paired with a gray interior. I've only seen Cobalt Blue over black interior 996s for sale in Europe. Here's an Atlantis Blue (BMW color) over black that had a color change from silver that I really liked (and came close to buying).
