how to remove mirror switch
Still learning about my new to me 2005 Turbo S cab. Nothing but a pleasure to drive. Regrettably it had to sit most of the summer. So I've got it ready for some winter use. New winter boots and a used winter hat! (Color doesn't quite match, but painting will have to wait until summer!)
I've just noticed the mirror controls are upside down! All functions are opposite. (PPI didn't catch that.) I don't have the back story on this. Have they been upside down since manufactured?
Seems like the controls just need to be removed and righted. How do I do that? The controls seem to be tight against the trim.
Thanks,
Neil

Below is video DIY on removing the door panel. The only part you have to remove is triangle corner molding. You pry it slight upwards and outward gently at the bottom with a soft plastic trim tool. Then once the bottom is free slide the piece up to release the slide taps holding the top part to the door. Then from behind you can pop the mirror control out. You might be able to leave the triangle trim in place and just pry the switch out but you might mare the leather.

Excuse the hijack, but what wheels are those? Don't think I have seen those before (not saying much). Kinda looks like half Twist, half Techno, nice.

Wheels
I purchased these wheels used from an indy garage but I’m sure these were originally from Tire Rack.

They were/are available in Porsche’s recommended winter tire size. Rears are narrower than the summer wheels.

I think I remember your car, I had been looking for a replacement Turbo for many months, if I'm right yours was for sale in Wisconsin. That non-factory Porsche lettering on the rear gave it away. I was quite interested at the time but it sold while I was in discovery mode with the dealer. After two freaking years my new-to-me car luckily appeared out of nowhere 5 minutes from my house, and I used to live on the sellers street and also know the people he bought his house from. Small world sometimes.

All of the control inputs have been backward since new?
My car is almost 18 years old and just in the last year all inputs went to 'reverse'...........even when the switch is placed in the 'left' position the mirror control controls the Right mirror..........and up is down, right is left.

The entire triangle trim just pulls off. Use a soft plastic putty knife as a pry.
