~ 2 min. idle after driving seems to have done the trick.

Very little or no smoking upon start up now.

Thanks everyone.

I have found no issues on startup.

However, after she sat for a couple weeks, the smoke happened but only briefly.

I make it a habit of taking the car out every week or two and simply enjoy the ride. 100 miles or so and then simply let the car 'cool down' in the garage for a bit....maybe 30 seconds or so but only after a few miles of relaxed driving.

We live in a Porsche neighborhood.....and maybe two of us to my 'shut down' protocol.

My biggest concern is with our Macan.....bigger oil sump (?) so it sits for a bit more.

Bottom line on our vehicles is.....don't race home and then give them all a bit to cool down.

I'm probably killing all our vehicles according to the experts, but it works for us.

I've adopted the same strategy (fire her up when no one's looking)
