Mystery Interior colour code
Hi guys,
A question came from a fellow Porsche owner as to the exact colour of my '01 996TT. When I bought it, I thought it was Savannah (as advertised), but now I am leaning towards either Cinnamon or Natural Brown.
So I looked under the hood and found the option code sticker... and it read '02' as interior code. Now I have searched over and over for any information relating to this code, but nothing.
Any ideas out there?

I may be wrong but looks like natural leather interior, you have option code X99. Which is also called Natural Brown. Hopefully that correct. You could call a dealer or Suncoast Porsche to verify that.

Also in '01, X99 is listed as "Natural Leather Option - Code required for transmittal to PAG. (Internal Use Only)", and it has no MSRP associated with the option.
The option code "02" (Natural Leather - Brown) is listed as a $1,385 option.

Interesting... so I wonder if the X99 defaulted the '02' or other way around? :P
Guessing then too it was a special order or similar... they went 'all out' with the dark wood, which suits the Natural Brown well, and full leather roof, leather sun visors, even leather seat controls... or was that a sort of standard Turbo feature?
Seems like the colour code mystery has been solved! Thanks heaps

I think the 02 generated the X99.
"Natural Leather - Brown" is simply listed in the order guide as "Optional Special Leather Interiors". There were four available in '01; Boxster Red, Cinnamon Brown, Natural Leather - Dark Grey, and Natural Leather - Brown.
Boxster Red and Cinnamon Brown were $440 options. The other two were $1,385 options.
