Yokohama A052 - Any Feedback?

Have about 20k on the front Falkens and they are just needing replacement due to inner wear. Still a few thousand miles left. Great tires.

Asked them a number of weeks back and was told they're coming, but nervous too...

Just heard back from Tire Rack sales and got GREAT news! And I quote regarding the Yokohama A052:
"Yokohama released the original tire with 6/32" tread depth. They are re-releasing the tire with 7/32" tread depth. They will be making the tire in that size with the updated tread, but they have not provided a delivery date to us yet"

It goes over 186 just fine. "rated for" and "can" are two different things. Would I cruise all day at 190? No, but that is true for any tire. For standing mile or 1/2mile runs the A052 is a good choice.

Sweet! just saw that on the website as well, new listing altogether for the 7/32 version, wonder if compound/construction is still the same..

From the email I received it sounded like it was a tread depth, but when I order my next pair I will ask and give you all some feedback. Should be on the new ones after the next track day and a few AutoXs

I see that Yokohama has just released another version of the Advan...The Fleva V701. Not a great name, but it looks interesting because it sits right next to the AD08R in the lineup with the notable difference that it's marketed as quieter.
There's no 295/30/18 on Yok's website, but perhaps they will release it in 295 or 315/30. I'll eventually get around to calling them.
