Depends on suspension. I'm lowered on PSS9s and 245 in the front required John's radiator bracket mod.

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...big-tires.html

In the rear I'm running a 15mm spacer, gt2 brackets and liners (again per John) and rolled rear fenders.

This is for 245-40-18 and 315-30-18 on stock offset BBS wheels.

A good friend has these on his turbo, and we have loved them. I also have them on another car, and these tires are my go to for classes requiring 200tw+, or cars that are dual duty.

As a bit of info, I've also had 5-6 sets of AD08R's, and the two tires are very different. AD08R's have less grip, but get a shocking amount of life. The A052 has much more grip, but also a much shorter life span.

Thanks for the info. I am lowerd an inch and am on PSS10s. I think i will stick to stock sizes. Have been on Sumis which have been good. Two rears to one front. I am ready to try something different. I am a Michelin fan...which the new models came in our size.

So how did the track day go? I run 24 Hours of Lemons, so I can't run Pilot Sport Cups (need a 200TW tire) - I've been contemplating these or Bridgestone RE71Rs.

Still havent worn put the AD08Rs yet. It was also in the 40s and 50s for the track day so I didnt put the AD052s on yet. I will absolutely let you guys know. I think they still have a few more AutoXs left. I have another Mid Ohio track day in Sept. Im sure the AD052s will be on by then. Here is to Yoko AD08Rs wearing like iron!!

I have exactly 5000 semi aggressive street miles on my AD08Rs and they are about 60-65% worn. Still work great, excellent background traction on cool/cold roads. They are wearing evently but are loud!

Just FYI, Tirerack has AD08R'S back in stock. They now sport a 200 UTG treadwear instead of 180 (which was conplete nonsense in the first place). Good news for anyone that uses these on the street and light ish track use like me. These tires have lasted so long I am still not through them yet, but will probably replace them with my AD052s soon before our INDY DE.

Happy 4th!

Did you go with 295s or 315s out back? Fortunately there's a choice!

I'm not inclined to go with the AD08Rs again, they're just too loud at highway cruise speed after half life. I have some time though...

They worked out very well for our 3 day HPDE at Indy. Good even wear, and a step up in grip from the AD08R.

315's.

Had to drop my spacer down to 10mm till I roll the fenders more.

Did a quick and dirty fender roll with a flag pole I had in the garage. I need to cut the tabs off the fender roller I have and go back at it. Attachment 1291081Attachment 1291080

I haven't pushed it super hard yet. Curious if the fronts gonna rub I've done the radiator on one side. Need to do the other. Definitely like the extra meat of these tires.
