Default Spun on the track tonight

I felt the red mist and drove a little hard on the last session and went into a hard spin. I put both feet in and I was able to stop on the tarmac without hitting anything. It took a bit to get the car started but I limped back to the paddock. I let the car cool down, reset the battery and then drove 25 minutes home.
My Durametric says I have a fault "Hot film MAF Sensor"
If I replace the MAF Sensor should I be OK?

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Been there done that. Had intake manifold hose pop and maf splattered in oil. There's a oil feeder tube or something like that. I always wonder y it's there. Mike

All is well once again. Cleaned the MAF sensor and the fault is reset. Started and every thing is good! Thanks all.

Red Mist...hard to avoid when tracking a GT3. The closer to the limit you get, the more addictive it becomes.
