What's Up with Yokohama?
Last year I tried to buy new Mich PS2 rear tires, but no one had them, so I was forced to buy a set of four ADVAN NEOVA AD08 R and toss the fronts.
This year I need two new rear tires (fronts still have lots of tread) and Tire Rack has only one rear tire left (closeout special)!
Does anyone know if Yokohama is discontinuing the AD08 Rs or is this simply a case of waiting for a new batch to arrive?

they just released the A052, might be the replacement...will have to look into it

The A052 tread pattern is very different. I'm curious to know if this is the replacement for the AD08 R which I'm running now. Marv, let me know what you think of them. The only other tire I've had on the GT3 is the NT-05 which I didn't like.

I just chatted with Tire Rack. The A052 is a different class of tire than the AD08 R and is not a replacement. The A052 is a faster dry road tire. The AD08 R is not being discontinued but several sizes are already sold out for the season.
I didn't realize tires were produced and stocked seasonally.
