GT3 for sale
just kidding! .
tngt3 i may have beat you to the clear sidemarkers!!!
re-read my first drive report and pretty much the same. the immediate throttle response is startling after the gt2. front end feels bouncy, that's the best description vs GT2: tyres? tyre pressure [car arrived 29/35], bars? tramlines more than gt2, but havent checked setup.
i love the light, smaller, quicker, lighter feeling and the 70 S sound.
and my south dakota license plates are red, white and blue. what more could you ask for?
here's another pic of tngt3's car, they look remarkably similar for some raison d'etre, except for the side markers of course.

Watt,
I am picking them up today. Unfortunately, it is beginning to rain and the forecast is not looking good for the next few days. Will post a "fresh" picture asap. Looking forward to seeing your new ride.

Watt,
When I saw the title I took you seriously <grin>>
Mine came with clear sidemarkers - a gift from the dealer which is common in these parts. On the other hand, they sell for full list.
I agree with the "lighter, smaller " and more nimble feel. I can't explain it either, it just feels that way.

i've got the new GT3 advertising campaign:
GT3, makes you feel 10 years younger.
i never drove my first gt3 on a flat surface having only been up in the mountains at home, and yesterday i was heading home on PCH, the ocean blue, the sun shining, the engine wailing, looking over the bonnet of the light, narrow, small, silver car with absolutely hilarious instantaneous throttle and i SWEAR i was in my 1970S 2.4... like a flashback... but my waist was no smaller.
on the flat, it's a f.g rocket. and on the hillclimb the first power "plateau" at 4500 isn't much by gt2 standards [i think i called it .... never mind], but the second power hit at 6500 gets the job done for such a light nimble car.
a completely unified package of high performance. one DE instuctor is pulling 1.28 G's on the street tyres at the track. wow. wow. wow

hey jake,
i am considering alternatives for this summer, if the past is an indication of the future, i will have something new. for now i am just putting GT3 seats and lap belts in the car, will add rollbar, 6 points and fire if needed here.
you are aware the Pony EXpress 100 is early this year? June 24th?

I saw the schedule. I'll be there. Can't wait. Working on getting my race wheels right now. How'd you get your wheels there for the Gambler? I'm thinking of shipping them there.

post a query on the MKM website, a corner worker helped me ship wheels in Elko, even refused payment altho' i forced it on him. everyone involved in ORR lends a hand gladly and freely.
you can find a corner worker who lives in BM and ship wheels to him/her and pay in Budweiser!!!!

dirt meister,
please refer to my post "we reserve the right to contradict ourselves". no memory is good trading!!!! but feel free to throw a few good quotes in my face, that's what i'm here for.
and using the word "gutless" isnt bashing; it's just a relative term of endearment! and do remember my GT2 bashing thread!!!!!!!
in the context of a 911, it's wonderful, in the context of a gt2 it's slower at hillclimbs, at my slow, poser skill level, everywhere else it's gets the job done .

Hey Watt,
Don't forget the PE11 is downhill this year. Hmmm, anybody read the new rules? Wonder who is going to bag the new 170 class four dollar trophy? December Pahrump event! Interested?
R
PS
175 tech speed for the new 155 class is perfect for a GT3,properly equipped of course.

slow poser doing 165
at spring mtn last month, a guy says to me ORR is boring you can just set your cruise control.
well imagine targeting an average speed of 150 on this road, which is Rte 225, Elko County during the gambler 100.
care to cruise control this?????
