Default Pics of Pirelli Slick Size on 12"

Found a good thread discussiing Pirelli slicks here https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...rear-size.html but have a few questions:
I have some 305 660 18 in my garage and was wondering if anyone has ran them on a 12" wheel and if so do they have pics? They seems to be a decent bit smaller than a 315/30 NT-01 which seem to fill a 12" wheel without bulging

Also does anyone have pics of a 305 680 on a 12" wheel?

And finally I have some 325 660 18 (these seem to be the best) but does anyone ahve pics they could share?

Thanks in advance

I'd be nervous about the load rating on the 305/660. It's narrow. 305/680 is a 996Cup size run on an 11" wheel. It's very tall. 325/660 is what I'd go with Joe..

Thanks John - quick comparison in the garage confirms it is pretty narrow. I can run them on my OEM twists as spares or just sell.

I use 245/645 and 305/645. It seemed narrow, but they really run well.

I put 325 660 on this weekend and there is room to go wider. Will post pics tonight.

Go too wide and tall in the rear, and it will induce understeer. You can undo some of that with height adjustment and shock balance, but I'm not sure you would gain much.

Yea i am on a WB 996tt so too wide for me vs the 6gt3 is different. The pirellis are narrow compared to NT-01's. I find the 325 Pirelli smaller than a 315 NT-01 is overall width.

I am thinking 13" rear too which powdrhound runs. Not sure if a 325 slick will be too stretched on it though.

325 on 13s should be fine. Hoosier 320/650-18 is listed as a 13" wheel tire. It's not too short either at 25.8 which is good as it should handle a decent load. I'm going to try those in conjunction with a 265/645 on a 10". Stretch is good... 7RSR runs 310/710s on 14" wheel...

I've also run Nitto NT01 in the past, but these are the various sizes of Hoosier R6 and Yokohama / Pirelli slicks that I'm currently running. In these photos, the Yokos are not on rims. Others are on 18" x 8.5" and 9" fronts, and 11" rears.

Nice. What wheels did you go with Joe? You going with the 325/660-18 Pzeros? 265/650 fronts?

I had a stack of 245/315 NTs against R6 245/315 and was surprised by how much taller R6 (wider) Hoosiers were. Will be using both 245/305NTs and used 245/315 R6 next weekend.

The 325 is a bit stretched on the 13. Going to put the rains on these wheels since the tread is much wider on those 325s
