Any idea to the cost of soemthing like this? I am wondering if I should just keep looking. My break even point is $500. If I spend more than that then it is approaching what I could buy a new set for.

Just got my E88's from Gert at Carnewal last week. Used Mooty's dimensions and will mount 245/295 MPSC2's. I don't trailer and the other tires are way too noisy on the road.

I rebuilt my E88s and it was easy. Rebuilding E88s is easy. There is a good DIY thread in the Wheel and Tire subforum.
You just need to contact Bob Woodman or BBS Motorsport to piece together the inner and outer barrels for the part numbers for the correct offset. Bob Woodman can sell you used barrels and rebuild kit(new bolts and gaskets)

So my deal fell through on those used e88's. If anyone has a used set that they would like to relinquish I am happy to purchase. I would prefer gold centers. Need to fit narrow body 996. Cash in hand.

E88 seem to really hold their value well in the used market. I too have wanted a set for a long time and looked for good second hand deals to come along but honestly most of the ones I've found aren't worth the headaches of used wheels with unknown past for what they are still trading for used.
You can get a brand new set from Gert @ Carnwal right now for $4k shipped based on his current pricing and the current exchange rate. That'd be the way to go for me if I was buying.

Consider a new set from Powdrhound for a fair price in a couple days and be done with it. Great help and perfect fit.

E88s in 18x10 and 18x12.5 with 275/35 and 335/30.
This is the first time I've run these wheels. Really impressed with them. Lightweight, strong, and fits over OEM 380 brakes. Zero tire slippage on the rim. Good stuff....
