Great thanks for all the advice, cheers, however, a little peturbed by Mr Ayo's incident....that was using a 9 inch front, yet other people say it fits fine and no contact? Mr Ayo, were these the same wheels and when they were fitted, was there any contact on testing? Or did it only occur at the track day?

Think the OZ is lighter, but it is weaker as it is not forged... Also, it is about 30% of the price. Still amazing wheels and I use a set on my 928 Race car.

to say wheel is 9" is meaningless.
u need the width and the offset
using EXTREME example, et 100 will take out your shocks et 10 will chew out your entire front fender. but all 9" width.

Thanks. 13.9 kg (30.5 lbs) of savings over OEM. I would have take a weight gain given how good they look but nice to know they're not that much heavier than OZ Alleggerita.

Who is the go to for E88? I was going to email Carnewal but if there are others recommended to get pricing through it would be great to know.

OEM are heavy, anything is going to be lighter.

I went with Gert at Carnewal using OEM sizes and ET rather than the Mooty approved sizes, didn't do my homework well enough it seems.

You could try Butzigear or 311RS.com

Just so I know, it's not possible to fit bigger wheels on the GT3 is it ? I have come across a set of Victor equipment le mans wheels but they are 20 inch.....so don't think they will work.....off a newer Porsche I think...plus they are not BBS...

the 20s will fit provided the width and offsets are compatible with the amount of space in the wheel wells. However, it won't look at all functional and not what a 996 GT3 is about IMO. The ride would probably be horrible with the low profile tyre on the 20 also.

I think you are right - The BBS wheels are so right for the car...

^ As an FYI and just in case you did not see the thread that follows, do your due diligence if you plan to use Victor wheels at the track. See here: https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...track-use.html . I know the author of post #7 and remember when his wheel failed, not pretty... Probably fine for street use tho.

Plus they are heavy! I had a set on an old Carrera in 18 and would not recommend. The only other wheel that comes close to BBS E88 is the BBS monoblock but then same $$$$, just my opinion though.

Is the 9/12 combo OK with a 245 up front and a 295 on the back? I know Luis said it fits, just wonder what the dynamics of the vehicle are like. I guess you could run a 235 on the 9 also to keep OEM sizes.

I currently have the 9 x 11.5 with stock size pilot sport cup 2's. I ran 245/315 Nittos on the stock wheels.
