Default Nürburgring video

I realise this is slightly off topic but those that are interested in track driving (most here I guess) might really enjoy this video of an M3 CSL at Nürburgring:

The driver is clearly capable of a sub 8 minute lap with is pretty impressive for a non-Porsche.

Yeah it's very impressive, it's a BTG of about 8:22, he was even held up at Metzgesfeld and going up to Hohe Acht and had to slow right down for the accident at Schwalbenschwanz

I posted this video of Frank Stippler at the ring in a GT3 RS...Awesome perspective. 70 meg, quick download. Enjoy!!!
Great educational value...heel toe, braking, apex management ect..

PS: Scary to see how fast you have to drive to be competitive!!!

Yes, the M3 has a very raspy sound, a bit ricey but it's still way better than any ricecar I've ever heard.

In the M3's defense I would have to say that the video sound has been compressed a lot and has thus affected the way it sounds, it sounds way more metallic and well raspy than it actually should.
