Clacking noise
Hey all,
Iv been noticing a noise from my engine bay, cant really determine what it is. I understand there are many noises which are listed as normal, but this one is bothering me. Noise is not present on cold start and initial drive .After driving the car and getting it all warmed up when I stay at a traffic light idling, or in my garage, there is a slight clacking noise that kinda comes and goes. Clutch out or in, and in Neutral. As soon as I start driving, no noise the car runs like clock work and pulls like a mother. Its almost that clacking noise you get when the car starts to stall, but its very very quiet and almost undetectable. I can only pick up on it on the inside, or unless I stand still listening for a while outside the car. Any idea as to what it is? Car has 9,600 miles if that's even relevant.
