Default New Elephant Racing Chassis / Strut brace

This has been brewing for a number of years. We wanted a chassis brace that would triangulate the front trunk area for added torsional stiffness. Think 935 racecar chassis brace.

Easy enough. But just to make it interesting, we decided to integrate into the trim and upholstery such that it looks like it belongs.

How much of an improvement can this actually make? My understanding is that you don't even need a strut brace between towers on the 996 MKII due to inherent stiffness.

It's 100% cosmetic. I doubt you'll get a response because there's no way to justify this item except cosmetically.

The point with strut bars is the chassis flexing side to side. This doesn't do anything. Sorry. Maybe put horizontal bars on top and bottom of x's it would make a difference. Besides the 6gt3 has a strut bar from shock tower to tower with a fortified front (c4 front modified chassis). Mike

Yes, this may work on an early 996, but I don't see the benefit on a GT3.
