Default 2004 996 GT3 possible for sale…..

Hello All!

Yes it has indeed been a while since I have been on any car site or track for that matter. I finalized a divorce this Jan(trust me, it was for the best). I have my kiddos every other week and changed companies but stayed in the same business. My ex of 11.5 year and I worked in the same field and together the last years of the marriage.

Ok enough of the blah blah blah boring stuff. I think I might get back into a 997.2 Turbo S that I can daily drive more than I do the 3. I loved the 3 in every way, and I know I left a lot on the table in terms of learning how to drive the car right, but, I did get to take it to COTA in Jan 13 and Texas World Speedway that same year in April. It was incredible.

Do a search and see the history of the car but it is :

Seal Grey
black/grey full leather
some painted extras like center console and air vents and thicker wheel.
PCCB(steel rotors on car, but I have ceramics)
Rear diff rebuild with Guards internals a year ago
OEM roll bar
OEM GT3 seats with bey krause lower option for driver since I am tall.
sport seats with painted backs
OEM wheels in satin black with like new Sumi's III
OZ wheels with Yoko AD08
6 pt harnesses
Clear film the entire front of car and fenders.
factory cruise control

27k miles and no stories.

Have these cars gone up in value in 2 years? It kinda seems like many are selling in high 50's to low 60's?

Let me know if anyone is interested?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks Mike for your interest.

The question was raised about an asking price.

$62,500 would buy my car.

Sorry about the recent events.

Bump for a beautiful car at a great price as well as a great owner.

Good luck with the sale.

Long time no see man! Thanks for the kind words. The replacement car situation is not quite coming together as I had hoped. Things can change, but, at the end of the day if I stayed put with my paid for 3, life wouldn't be too bad.

Just dropped it off for :

Oil change
Motul flush
Allignment
Diff flush(first one since I had it rebuilt)

Tom,

Sorry to see you sell. I am sure it will go fast.

Curious who do you use for a shop? Is it here in Austin?

Is that you Tor? I thought your car was silver?

I just take it to the Porsche San Antonio. Been working with the same Mech for along time now.

Hi Tom
I know it is a difficult situation and not what we plan for. You have my sympathy.

Bump on great car and owner.

Nah, it's Kenny. We met once at H2R. Gotcha re: Porsche in SA. I am always on the lookout for who is the best of the best here in Austin.

Hey guys. I have been SHOCKED at the interest in my car. I do have a sale pending a happy PPI next week.

If anything changes, I will post the car officially for sale. Thanks Everyone!
