Can anyone recommend any windshield protection? I am getting ready to install the 3rd windshield in one year and would like to add some protection to it? I know there are several companies that make a clear bra like film. Any suggestions and real world experience welcome.

A good friend of mine (Mvez) has the clearplex purchased throug a sponsor here. I've considered it a time or two but never pulled the trigger. I believe many on the 997 forum run the same product. Send him a PM and he should be able to share more details.

Clearplex works pretty good. Not bullet proof, I've had mine on for two seasons now and it's certainly protected the ws from a lot of damage. Last week however I got two small nicks in the ws. I was kind of surprised as these were the first since I installed the cover. However, if I hadn't had the cover I'm sure there would have been many more. I use to get damage after every other event.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna give this a shot. I found a place near me that installs the Clearplex. I'll chime in when I get this done.
