what are standard colors for 996 GT2?
Silver and black seems to be most common? Were white and speed yellow available as base colors as well? I'm looking for a white or yellow one...

Mostly black and silver...
I have seen at least two green ones with brown leather interior come up for sale. Real attractive combo IMO...one of them traded hands a year ago and I wish that I had pulled the trigger...but I am slow...

^It is a dark metallic Green. I am not sure what the official code is, but it really makes this monster car (6GT2) look like a gentleman's car! In person it looked great to me.
One was in CT and sold by a PCA private guy a couple of years ago, and the one that I missed was a year ago and it sold at an "exotic" car dealer in St. Louis, MO. I missed the latter...

Arctic silver, featured in the launch brochure and it's good enough for me.
The issue particularly in the UK is finding a good GT2 that hasn't been damaged or abused, colour choice is a secondary issue as we have less than 100 cars to choose from. I guess this could be the same in all markets as they are a rare car.
But what a car they are!
