That said the ONLY factory difference between the street RS and the street GT3 in terms of the transmission is the LWFW.

In addition, although the RS has the front bumper fascia similar to the Cup/RSR cars, the center radiator is not canted forward. Best I can tell, the RS was where the RSR parts were homologated, and the point was to get the bumper in the parts manual...

U sure about that being a real rs front bumper? This is a pic of a true 6rs not sold here. Check the shape of the vents. Check the link(pics) someone posted of premiere selling this rs conversion. I'll probably post a pic of this car later. Sure looks different. Mike

Also I believe the rs front hood has a badge sticker vs thick plaque that's bolted in. Op do u have sticker porsche plaque and can u confirm what rs vent cut off u have? Squared like cupcar bumper or tapered like 6rs bumper. Mike

Here's another one from premier. No way that's a rs bumper. Mike

That cage as well is an rss rollcage. Are rss cage came factory from Porsche? Just wondering what's factory spec. Mike

Decal, Cage and Nose from the imported 2004 GT3RS. 100% original.

The regular 996 carrera '99 had no glovebox. Exactly same dash minus the glovebox. Google for pics. Mike

Really like the color and really like the car. I wouldn't sweat the bumper if I had all of the other RS goodies. Looks just fine and the car looks very well done. Are you going to the PCA track event April 5 & 6? Maybe see you there.

PS up close pic of the vent shape and screen.

^yep as long as everything is up to snuff with build I won't be complaining but having an ad by premier saying its an rs bumper- that's false advertising. Big difference in price too buying a oem rs bumper vs cutting slats off a stock bumper as well as getting a cup front bumper. Mike
