I have been using Rich at http://www.rotorsandpads.com/ for the last 10 years or so. Great prices and service, and knows his product. - no financial interest, satisfied customer...

pfc08's all around. in my case, they have better stopping power over pagids. when i tried the RS29's i believe they were, i had to actually adjust my driving style to accommodate the lesser braking force. with the pfc's, i have way more confidence and can brake later. i'm no pro racer or engineer so maybe i'm talking out of my ***, but this is how i feel, take with grain of salt.
craig - we are in the same neighborhood. do you carry pfc pads? if so i would love a local store option. i am lazy and procrastinate, so i end up needing pads ASAP, like 1 or 2 days before an event so if i could run to kirkland real quick, that would be awesome!

I've used Hawk HT10 for years on three different track cars and have no complaints

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the new Pagid RSL1 pad.
The UK Pagid distributor told me it is similar to the RS29 but has improved friction, bite, fade resistance and wear rates.
However it is only available in E8004 shape (OEM 996.2 GT3 shape is E2707) which is slightly shallower to allow for the 2-piece discs that the Cup cars run. Not a real issue as long as you don't try and swap to a standard pad shape later on on the same disc. However they are also 1.5mm per side thicker than the RS29 with a pad thickness of 19.5mm for the RSL1 versus the RS29's 18mm thickness.
Does anyone know if the thicker pad would fit in the callipers when using standard rotors?

Burning Brakes
Any updates for these times? I also use PFC08 but would really like to find something that doesn't crack rotors quite so fast. 08's pour so much heat into the calipers and rotors.
