Engine harness pinout?
Hi,
I'm in the process of design a harness to run a GT3 engine with a non-Porsche ECU. Does anyone have the pinout for the ECU harness connectors? Also, what is that connector called? I will most likely need to source two of the male side of it unless I decide to convert it to Deutsch connectors (preferably not).
And just to be extra clear, it's the connectors in the attached pic.
Thanks,
Tim

In the BMW world they are called c101 connectors. You can buy them directly from BMW. I'm guessing Porsche would also make them availalbe.

Interesting, thanks for that info. I couldn't find it on Auto Atlanta, but I'll ask around for where to source. Based on your link, it looks like I need to figure out the pin sizing too.

Tim, looking at your picture the C101 could be the same exact plug. So a search for it including E30 24V swaps.

Bouncing this thread. Thanks for the responses so far on the c101 connector. Any thoughts on a doc with the pinout? I have it for a 997, but would like to see it for the 996. I'm sure there are some slight differences which will turn out to be important.
Thanks,
Tim
