I put Hankooks on the Club Sport for street duty.....hard to beat for the price. I've lost track of how many Toyo RA1's (same compound as the Nitto) i have gone through on the track....way more life than the Hoosiers but you do loose a second or two but I'm ok with that. My new to me 6gt3 came with Nitto's so I'm good to go!

No one should use me as a gauge on the Nittos. I like a stiff car and run 900/1100 springs on the car. I think my setup didn't mate well with the Nittos. Does real well with the R6s.

FWIW, I'm running 1050/900 lb springs and -3/-3.5 camber and seems to work ok for the Nitto's. Works even better for the R6's though.....

Re Michelin Pilot Super Sports
They are available in 235/40/18 and 275/35/18 or 285/35/18. Either rear will work with 11" rims.
Based on recent experience with my GT3, they are very good tires.
Consider targeting 35 / 37 F/R psi hot.

I have R6's for the dry, and I'm on my fourth set of 888s as everyday and wet tires. The 888s have been fine but are terribly loud. Michelin do not manufacture a PSS 295/30/ZR18 at this time.
OK, not asking much but I'm asking for a Quiet, Fast, Everyday Tire that's Fast in the Rain.
I do not like PS2s, suggestions? Thanks.

In my experience You can have only 2 of these three choices in one tire - quiet, quick, cheap

Any of the Mich PSS 18" combos below will work ABS wise and can be made to work using sway bars. My attempt below to 'classify' the setups.

1) 225/40, 285/35 (street setup)
2) 235/40, 285/35 (street / track)
3) 245/35, 285/35 (track / street)
4) 255/35, 285/35 (track)
5) 265/35, 285/35 (autocross)

Agreed.. I've ran through the tires to cords each and every time before tossing them, they never heat cycled out EVER for me... And grip is good down to the last lap

Is this a R6? Picture name says Nitto, but 2 grooves =?

Pressure hot?

Camber?

Here's one of mine a few weeks ago:

Francois - was that inside rear that your R6 blistered ? Mine did same thing at CMP last weekend ... I caught it before the blister opened up but looks like what mine would have done if I hadn't have noticed it.

Never saw a blister, but very likely. 1.5 days, approx 7 heat cycles. Just happened to have a look and saw the slit. Still have not got an answer from Hoosier re warranty or not.

Yes, inside rear.
