I found this floating around in my engine bay today ('04 GT3). Can anyone shed some light as to where it goes? It appears to be a holder through which wire bundles and perhaps an electrical plug pass.

thats is a line holder, they are used through out the car to hold fuel lines, evap system lines etc, and in a few different styles. The two round openings are where the designated lines would run through and they usualy screw on to the course threaded bosses on the body. you should be able to see one on the left side of the engine bay, forward of the water expansion tank, holding the fuel lines, and on the top side (think Cieling) of the engine bay.

If memory serves correctly, power steering supply/return line holder. Viewed from the rear of the car, it's mounted to the top of the engine compartment, roughly a foot forward of the decklid hinges on the right side, above the main engine wiring harness connections.
