This was my baby at the track last weekend with NCCAR...

I have a few teething issues, but this one is going to give me years of enjoyment on the track while the GT3 gives me years of enjoyment in general!

That car always had great lines.

Beautiful car MiKelly!

I miss my 73' 240z. Unfortunately, couldn't bring it here to Europe, now sitting back in Cali. Mine had a Z Car Garage (Santa Clara) 2.8Lt, lighten flywheel with Z31 clutch, free flowing (but quiet) exhaust, 4.11 Subie LSD, 5 speed, 16x7 panasport, Z32 TT Disc brakes all around, rollbar and harness. I miss tracking it at Thunderhill and Seca!

More details and pictures of your ride please!

I raced a 1970 240Z for years.....great cars!

I love 240z's. Seeing how long the engine bay is its very susceptible to major engine swaps. Love Frankenstein old school cars. Mike

It's a 76 chassis with a Mitch Piper rollcage (12 points). Has a Summit Racing fuel cell installed with some FuelSafe bits to help with the plumbing.

The Suspension consists of my own design front control arm and thrust rods, along with rear cromoly adjustable control arms. All bits are monoball mounted except on the rears inner bits where urethane mounts do the job. The shocks are Koni 8610 adjustables and I have camber plates in the tops of all four shock towers. The brakes are Mustang Cobra units and the hubs/stub axles are also custom 5 lug units.

The driveline consists of from the back forward a custom set of Speedway engineering axles, an infinity Q45 rear differential with viscous LSD, and a 19inch custom drive shaft. I use a Tremec TKO 5 speed roadrace transmission with a Centerforce clutch setup housed by a McLeod SFI bellhousing. The motor is a 383 stroker with forged bits along with Forged aluminum heads and a Cutlier intake (from a raceboat project) along with a 1000cfm throttlebody and 42# injectors. I'm using a FAST XFI fuel injection standalone system that has data logging and traction control. Still debugging the car. When I bought it in 2002 there was a shell and that was it.. no plumbing, wiring, or glass in the vehicle.

It's taken me about 9 years to get it running properly, and built. I only outsourced the cage and the paint job.
