Default Thanks to FABSPEED

I recently had Fabspeed install the following items…

Maxflo Sport Headers (Ceramic Coated)
Catbypass X-Pipe
Maxflo Mufflers
Maxflo Competition Intake
EVOms ECU Upgrade

The parts are super high quality, the service was great, and the car runs awesome. Overall I was very pleased with the experience. Special thanks to Alex.

Thanks guys. I am not sure about the exact weight savings, but it’s significant. Holding the stock parts in one hand and the Fabspeed parts in the other, I could definitely feel a weight savings.

I haven’t had the car dyno’ed yet. I am going back to Fabspeed soon to have them install an IPD Plenum and a 997 Throttle Body. They have to fabricate a custom connector between the Throttle Body and the Maxflo Competition Intake. Once these are installed I plan on doing a dyno run. I will post the results when I have them.

As soon as I get a nice day I will try to record a couple audio drive buys. The sound is pretty amazing… and it’s definitely not too loud. I passed sound check at Lime Rock Park without any issues.

No cats and maxflow mufflers "passed" LRP or is it possible you mean you did not get black flagged maybe because the noise police were not around on your runs?
Just a friendly point of clarification.
I can't see no cats and light mufflers making the meter man very happy on a wide open run by him.
I am sure it sounds nice and hope it does work at LRP but that place is tough.

What's the sound limit at LRP? I can't pass at LS here at 92db(now 90db-wtf?). I have similar set up minus header/intake(if cone type that will increase db level)/ecu it registers at wot 101 db for me. Mike

Yea I'm shaking my head at the whole "Sound police" issue... I don't understand why it is we get regulated at a RACETRACK where cars are supposed to be LOUD... Ugh....

Did you do a baseline beforehand for dyno comparison for all the mods by chance?

As CTO3911 points out, I should have clarified my previous statement regarding the DB level. I ran a full DE event without ever being black flagged at LRP. Whether or not the sounds police were there I can't answer.

Thanks for the great feedback Ian, I'm glad your enjoying your exhaust and software upgrades. It was great meeting you and working on your ride. Let me know when your ready to come back in to have the Plenum and TB installed so we can make you the proper adapter hose to hook with the Intake.

Thanks and enjoy. PM me if you or anyone here has any questions about anything, Ill be glad to help and give you special member pricing if your interested in any upgrades for your cars.
