Default Recording chatterbox audio over your chasecam video, anyone done it ?

I would like to overlay my chatterbox microphone audio into my chasecam, I wonder if someone has already done it ?

I see that the chasecam has a nice mic input with even a gain control, but the chatterbox output I am not sure.

I would like to be able to record my coaching session over the video, that would be pretty cool... I think

You might want to get in touch with Bob Kakascik at Stable Energies 973-773-3177. He might be able to hook you up as he sells Chatterboxes and Chasecams... Lou

You could split the output (try to find one at Radio Shack); 1 output going to the coach, 1 going to your camera input; however, I think only one side of the conversation would be recorded; not sure; never done it

Could be a little messy with the additional wires and whatnot, not to mention the splitter hanging off the chatterbox

You can if you are using PDR100. You can download the manual from chasecam. See pg 8 and 11.

humm I can't see anything about that on the page 8 and 11
Can you elaborate... did you do it yourself ?

The trick it to find out what kind of cable using and where, but I'll give it a try, and report back..

Phil,
My PDR100 has Audio input option. If your dont have this option, you may try what SH || NC suggested.

Mike thanks so much for the pinout, that is great !
I think my only way is indeed to build a splitter from the ps2 keyboard kind of connector that the chatterbox use into a jack going into the chasecam pd100. I'll keep you posted.
