Default WTB - 996 GT3 Front Dash Speaker

I've got a blown one, anyone looking to sell off a speaker?

I need one that goes on the top of the dashboard, passenger side (not sure that matters).

are the rears the same as the fronts? I removed both the rear speakers. Never thought of selling them, but if they work for you I could potentially them. I don't see myself re-installing them anytime soon.

There are a few options for you also:
Standard 'Nokia' unit with only 1 driver - fits front and rear
Twin driver unit, 'Haes' branded - fits front and rear - 996.645.038.02 01C (black Right) 996.645.037.02 01C (black Left)
Twin driver 'Bose' branded - fits front and rear

I bought a second hand pair of the Bose on ebay which I've fitted in the rear and managed to source a cheap set of the twin driver units for the front.

The units are side specific but you can actually fit either side. The side specific bit is the angle the main driver unit faces when mounted, ie for the front dash the main driver unit faces into the cabin slightly even though the left and right fixings are identical either side.

So are you implying the standard Bose fits front and rear?

Yes, the Bose units are exactly the same grill, size, etc, even mounting points, they just have Bose midrange and tweeter. I have fitted my Bose versions to the dash and to the rear with no problems. The midrange magnet does sit lower within the dash than the cheaper Nokia and Haes but I never had a problem with it.

Bought a brand new dash speaker for an ex-996 a few years ago. Cost from P dealer was less than $50.
