Yeah, I'm planning to use that too when the new RS wing shows up. You know, "yeah, but honey, if there's more down force, the car will be more stable".

dan - great pics, thank you.
alcons are great brakes, much more efficient solution than pccbs.
you're right, it's definitely coming of age now. we only got about 14 delivered to australia, and they usually go for around $180k, which is about a $40k premium over the std model. most are white/red. this is the model i would like one day, it will do me.
are they still hovering around the 60k pounds in blighty? cheap considering the 993 and 964 are over 100k now. i think it has hit the bottom of the curve and can only go up from here.

So why in the hell this car feels so different and so brilliant? The only plausible explanation that I have come up with is that either it’s all in my head or that this car had one quality that always makes some things be above all else. Every part on this car was a perfect match for the part next to it and all of them worked together so bloody well. It had mechanical “Equilibrium”; I guess sometimes balance beats excellence..
Cheers.
Cheers.
There is something solid, pure and elemental about the car. It cannot be described. You have to drive it to really appreciate the car. The integrated roll cage, the suspension, the brakes, the perfectly balanced engine all contribute to the feeling, and it feels incredibly special when you drive it.
On the street, the RGT feels much more solid and better planted than my 2007 GT3. Straight-line speed is not a fair contest, given that my GT3 has a "ringer" engine.

Solberg certainly drives or has driven the **** out of most of his cars too, not to mention his wife who as he put it "beat all the boys" in the Norwegian Rally Cx driving a Mitsubishi Evo residing in the garage. : )
