My Introduction to the GT3 Community
Hey all,
Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Picked up an 04 Midnight Blue GT3 last weekend. A small background on me: I was really big into the audi community over the last couple of years. My last car was a modified 05 B6 S4.
The GT3 is a whole different animal though and i absolutely love it. I thought i was going to miss the little creature comforts of the S4 such as the heated / power seats, but the intoxicating engine harmony and the ability to rev out to 8200 has you completely forget about those small things.
I hope to be able to provide a bunch of knowledge and information in the form of DIY's for the community. I do most of the work myself on my cars. The S4 i had done DIY's for a simple air filter to a complete engine pull. I plan on doing the same for the GT3 to help keep some money in the pockets of GT3 owners for more tracks days and mods! I also have my own site that i post up my articles on, if you get a chance check it out! Euro Addiction
Over the winter while the car is in the garage i plan on doing:
Some of the options in my car were
Midnight Blue Metallic
Full Leather Interior
Deviant Stitching (Doors, Dash, Seats)
Maritime Blue Belts
Aluminum Console and Dash
Aluminum GT3 Door Sills
Air Conditioning
I just wanted to thank all of you for the information on this board. I have been lurking for a while and now that i have a GT3 i hope to contribute as much as possible. Look out for some DIY articles coming over the next couple of months.
And finally a crappy cell phone picture until i can get a proper photo shoot.
Happy Holidays!
Joey

Welcome to Porsche ownership and Rennlist!
Your 6GT3 sounds great - you'll have a blast with it come spring!
Note - the cell phone pic was not attached. Nice pic of the Audi though.

Welcome to the funny farm! We need more pics, and let us know when your first track event is.
I just got rid of my B6 S4 Avant for a tow / family hauler. I loved that car; true sport / utility.
