What's a reasonable price for an alignment?
Just curious, I have to pick my car up from the stealership (Carlsen) after getting an alignment. At the $165/hr, and with a couple phone calls like "we'll need to charge you more time...", I'm not too happy.

Geez.. Remind me never to go to CA for an alignment.
Corner Balance and align by ALMS Mechanic of the year cost me under $300.

I recently paid $290. Checking my records shows charges between about 240 to 300 at good independent shops. I was buying tires at the same time but don't believe there was any price break on alignment as a result. No dealer alignments so don't know what that would have been.

My indie charges $80-$100 tops for full 4 wheel track alignment. (not incl. corner bal.) He does a lot of track cars so it's usually no more than 1 hr.
