Deep wallets then my friends, deep wallets. I used the OEM wheels on the street and the E88's for the track. Not worth it to me to have to roll in the city on bling that most don't understand risking damaging a wheel when my purpose for buying E88's was for the track (weight savings).

E88 on the street here... no problem
I got them and was excited, so I slapped on the street tires and they have since been street wheels...

no issues at all, but my street driving in the 3 is pretty limited...

although my next set of track tires are going on the E88 and the Fikses will be going back to the street and E88 to the track.

i hear ya Dell, but then again i should not be drving my car on the street either but then again i am a lightweight junkie, and run some other componets that are total overkill for the street (Ti hinges for example in lids and doors)
i love the sleeper look - almost nobody knows what my car is and all the unobtanium that is in it.

as soon as the MPS's wear out - i am going with an auto-x tire so the E88's become dedicated purpose only.
if you build them up with the 4 & 5 inners and outers they are quite strong really.

Sure, sweet bling on the street but not practical for what they are DEVELOPED for. Just to be clear in case some of y'all are misunderstanding me......I never said you can't drive them on the street I just said I wouldn't.

i think is more of a matter of desire to emulate the ethos of the 60's and 70's with a dual purpose car.
a race car fit for the street...on my part.

Like i said, no one knows what they are generally looking at if it doesn't have huge wings and bling chromed out 20" wagon wheels in my case, which is just fine by me.

now youve done it !!!!!!
i was all happy with my decision to go with silver and ignore my cup fetish and you had to go and post that.
i have a silver car though and am continually going back and forth over how the gold centers will look on it. silver is more traditional but gold is pure motorsport....

help me!!!!!!!!!
