Thanks, I am very pleased with it. It is a Manthey Racing wing i.e. exactly the same as the RS wing. When it was made I think it would have been classed as after market, however now that Manthey Racing is wholly owned by Porsche I guess we can say it is OEM

Bringing this thread back up to the top. Met up with some old and new friends over the past week here in the CHI. I was having this conversation with a my friend today. My friend's 997.1 GT3 is just about as dialed in as it gets and is my dream spec. I love what it does and the sounds that it makes but I also love my 6/3 just as much. They are both amazing but in different ways. The 997.1 feels so refined, planted at highway speeds and howls when you press the gas. The 6/3 feels raw, rewarding, tiny, torquey. I do have a fabspeed exhaust (headers, muffler delete pipes, OEM cats, fabspeed tips) which I think amplifies the experience to an 11 for me. I have always wanted a 997.1/.2 variant of some sort but I think I'd want it in addition to and not to replace what I feel is a magical combination in the US spec 996.2 GT3

Did some driving yesterday morning to take in some of the current autumn weather down here in the Southern Hemisphere. The GT3 was faultless on all counts.
