I know the TR wouldn't buy you a GT2, I was more thinking about garage space. Sounds like your Dad was also a car guy with the triumph and the corvette.

My dad liked cars but he wasn't into them like I am. He bought the TR6 when I was 17. It's a cool little car. Going 100km/h feels like 200 in the Porsche. He always wanted a red Corvette when he was a kid. A friend lent him his yellow one in July of 2000 (an auto) and liked it but wanted a manual. We found one and he bought it - a yellow one in Aug of 2000. Mom was pissed. He got sick in Sept. of 2002 and died a year later. Never drove the car much. My mom is happy now he bought it for himself (well really him & I). It has only 30,000km on it now and it's a keeper. It's sentimental value is worth far more than the car itself.

Hey good for him, at least he got the car he always wanted.
BTW funny how you wrote that your garage is nearly full. I guess there is space for GT2 after-all.

If you are honestly looking, shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you a writeup I did for our local region's monthly newsletter about some things to consider when buying a car trailer.
