I think the cup car GT3 LSD is steel and the street GT3 is brass. The Porsche factory fill has copper corrosion inhibitors that others do not.

My dealer uses 999 917 546 00 Shell (Transaxle) - 1 liter container - and that is what I would use. I posted the link to the thread that lays this all out: you REALLY want to read the thread HERE and note all of the hard data, especially the datasheets in post #13 there.

I have read that post and if i understand it right the problem is that in the USA its hard to get the right oil, i have no problem getting the true Mobilube 75/90 SHC

My mistake in not noting you were not in the US. Sorry. Sweden is a truly beautiful country and I regret not having been there more than a month. I would use any of the Porsche-specified lubricants and not any that is not Porsche-specified. I think there are good reasons for the specifications.

That thread is great Chris! Fantastic job putting that info together

The only thing that throws me is that your dealer uses the Shell Transaxle, the PET specifically states that the Mobillube is for the GT3 and the Shell is for the rest of the 9X6 line.

I've got a Motorsports G50/34 gearbox in my car. I've been running the Mobil Delvac which appears fine, though cold shifts are notchy the first few shifts until the oil begins to warm.. The tranny has a Porsche LSD and steel syncros. What have others used in this scenario? My car is a street car.
