GT3 Kussmaul Settings
Hi
Can anybody tell me if these settings (Kussmaul settings for Mk2 GT3) are also valid for the Mk1? If not anyone has Kussmaul and Factory settings for a Mk1 GT3? Thanks! But did Roland not give you MK2 settings. Are these setting valid for a MK1 as well(tsantos question) ? |
Arrgh you are correct. The settings above are for the MK2 GT3. I have no experience with them on a MK1 but «i see no reason why they would be bad either.

Bob,
Can one use the same settings for an 03 GT2? Thank you! |

Yes they work well on the GT2. I used them on my 2002 GT2 and liked them. Sorry moogle but them's the facts. Best, |
Those are very similar to what I ran on my 2003 GT2 with stock suspension. Only difference was I ran -2.4D neg. camber in the rear.

Bob,
Thank you ! |
Are you guys using these settings on track-only cars? How would they do on a GT3 that is driven on street and track?
My current alignment was a compromise suggested by the local shop. I feel like I'm leaving a lot of track potential on the table with it. But I do use the car as a daily driver 50% or the time. I want to try a new setup. |
Hooligan - the alignment above works fine on the street if you can accept the fact that your tires will wear out on the inside edge if you do a lot of street (straight line) driving.
If you use less camber you will wear out the outside edge on the track. Take your pick based on where you wear out your tires. Sadly, everything has side effects. |
Hooligan,
Bob is totally correct. I have been running the Kussumaul settings for a year and a half. You WILL wear out the inside of the rear tires within 4k miles on the street. But the grip I get on the stock PS2 is so much fun... Everything is a compromise and has its price. |

That alignment is too aggressive for PS2's IMO. |
Way agressive for PS2's.
You can take the camber down by at least +.5 for the street. |
