Post driving gt2 -- why this car is the best i've ever driven

pardon me, if i wax estatic: reached break-in on the SY mamacita and for those who know Stunt and Scheuren Roads in malibu, have been driving wiley to football on those roads every evening, working the same 2,3,4 gear up/down mountain corner sets, and braking points.

things i forgot since i sold my fist gt2:

- un f.g believable mechanical grip. feels like 1G w/o trying, it's so easy
- light throttle steer toss from side to side thru the corners... the original 911S feeling
- sickeningly hot 1,2,3,4 acceleration
- brakes from Dog, or it it God. hitting 121 on the longest [1/3 mile?] downhill bump straight on stunt and stopping for the hairpin w/ much less drama than TT. i bedded them right the first time this time.
- smoothness is repaid w/ speed in gt2. really pays in the wet like this morning
- must have gt3 seats. still waiting on gert to deliver those carbon backs. come on, gert.
- clearly SY is faster than seal grey, a special thermodynamic phenomenon.

what a car. and no maintainance expense to speak of, unlike those ferrari comments you guys made recently.

"Some people will tell you that slow is good-- and it may be, on some days-- but I'm here to tell you fast is better...Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That's why God made [gt2's], Bubba..." quoted w/ license from SJP3003 on flat-6

metal,

remember the post about the 17 yr. old stuffing his gt2? and the 50 or so on how scary gt2's are???

in our research, we find that more 12 year olds stuff SY gt2's than any other colour, as they have proven so unexpectedly faster, than the gt2's these children have driven in other colours, that they get away from them. usually while parking in the garage.

we all know from rennlist threads past that gt2's are EVIL. So evil, no 12 year old can drive them fast. and SY gt2's Need to be banned as an assault weapon.

Man, every day I learn something new about these P-cars. Only 50 miles on the clock (hey, it's rained every day since I picked this thing up last Saturday) and I learn that my car isn't fast!!! And I truly aced thermodynamics in college - somehow I missed this, or the phenomenon is a recent discovery. So - if SY is the best, where is slate grey on the scale? How much of a turtle do I have?

steve n.,

we'll send you a t-shirt that says "my other car is SY".

i bet you aced equilibrium thermo; this is non-equilibrium thermo!!!! SY under acceleration causes a phase change at speed from solid to high velocity gas, an arcane non-equilibrium sublimation!!!!

pls post photos of your rig, i'd really like to see Slate, and we'll check with the colour guru, our seal grey gt2 lurker josh "jambone" ofstein and see is he has data in on slate yet.

Greetings. As Watt mentioned, I purchased his former Seal Grey GT2 because it was documented to be one of only 15% that hasn't been lost to the clutches of the 'Ring or the Malibu Canyons. I am also fairly certain it has not been driven by a 12 year old. Seal Grey is a good bit slower than Speed Yellow and in this capacity serves as a great beginners GT2. One day, like Watt, I hope to graduate to Speed Yellow but I still have plenty of drivers ed left before that day comes. The car sure is twitchy and EVIL handling but no worse than a 53 Buick Roadmaster and with lots of practice I hope to get the better of it! Of course in addition to being the fastest GT2, Watt likes SY because it better matches the gold trim kit and leopard skin gt3 seats that he plans on installing....

Watt: I would own SY - love it - but several women friends have offered the view that men who drive yellow cars are lacking in some fashion....So, even though I now know that SY is faster than my turtle, I don't know that I could own one.

Josh!!!!

out of the closet with a super maiden post!!!!! so that's why it's taking gert so long to ship those carbon backs, eh? the leopard is hard to catch. i'll send you samples of my Pink Mink headliner, as i know you will want one too!!! Wilbur [***** blink] can install! as to handling like a 53 Roadmaster, what's the 12 year old stuff record on them? did colour make a difference?? and no 12 year olds drove your car, except your stripper.

Steve N.

your girlfriend obviously flunked non-equilibrium thermodynamics: form follows function. As Josh Jambone has proven in the lab, Speed Y generates a higher rate of mass transfer per unit time.

Josh,

is Slate faster or slower than Seal in the hands of a 12 year old? and please send Steve the t-shirt: "Slate, choice of strippers Houston-wide" i know we have an XXXL in stock.

New weird story on GT2 drivers...

There's a GT2 in the shop at a dealer here in FL with a child seat installed. When they told me that I thought "Cool, someone likes driving it so much they take the kid to school in it". Turns out I was wrong. It's the nanny's car and she takes the kid to school in it. I can see Porsche's new ad slogan "The GT2 - even your Nanny can drive it".
