That may set a bar for a number 1 condition car, if it truly is a number 1, but IMO the market is not there for that price point. I say this having done a pretty comprehensive look at what was over still is available over the last month or so while I bought mine.
That car is marketed at the collector, and really, is this car collectible now? I think not, too new, and relatively obscure, with some baggage that all 996's seem to have currently. Will it become collectible, who knows, that chapter is yet to be written. Certainly it is a desirable model, and that will help buoy values. The fact that many of these cars have been and continue to be driven on the track also makes these low mile garage queens rare. But the rarity of a number 1 low mile car may not boost the values of number 3 or even number 2 cars.
