All I need to have those GT3 piston front calipers on my 996TT is calipers, 2pc. rotors and pads? The GT3 steels rotors will not fit? if so, how much are the special 2pc. rotors be? TIA

A local Pagit dealer told me that their pads are not the same as the Porsche pads. Porsche now makes 2 for the PCCBs. Black P-40 for street and such. THhe greens are motorsport pads. They will wear faster and when they get to about 50% left will fracture and perhaps have chunks break away.

Why not ping pagidusa directly and ask?
Either way, I have heard horrible things about the performance of the green pads at Laguna Seca (worn out in one day), that I am keeping away from them.

I've found some pics of Pierre's TT. He is fitting the 350mm 6 pistons BBK. They look like GT3 6 pistons calipers and the rotors looks like OEM parts. Can anyone confrim are they GT3 steels rotors? TIA

You can absolutely bolt on the calipers and 996 Cup rotors or stock GT3 rotors to your TT. As I mentioned, they will be 2 mm offset to the inside. You even have to be careful with the play in mounting them that the face of the rotor does not touch pin at the bottom of the caliper that the pad slides on. Also if you get too low on pads, the front pad will no longer be seated on this and will twist with the force of the rotor as there will be nothing but the top pin keeping it from simply dropping out of the caliper. So can it be bolted on? Yes. Is it a good idea? Not at all.

Thanks Bob, I've also talk to Pierre. He also told me is not simple direct swap with GT3 rotors. So can you PM me the price of the 2 pc. rotors fit with this setup your mentions before? TIA
