John at Quality Automotive did my alignment, way better than the dealer at half the cost.
416-784-0205 tell them George with the GT3 recommended them.

What kind of alignment spec are you looking for, street or track use?

Be sure to order your alignment shims in advance as no regular alignment shop will have them for sure.

And I'm not sure if I'd trust a REGULAR alignment shop to start playing around with rotating the upper strut bearings. It's your paint!

I would agree with Racerron, the shims are a good safe way to change alignment, this shop elongated the top bolts for me and has done other cars as well prior to me.

When i go to Montreal i will get Racerron to do my alignment if i keep the GT3 or on the next one, I also would agree on having someone i trust and who know's Porsche do the work other than that i would still recomend this shop as an alternative.

Actually this shop has been doing Corvette race alignments as well as some Porsche cars for many years with great success, it' only rocket science to those who have no clue.

I just don't think i should pay $750 for a speacial secret alignment from a Porsche race shop.

Go to Fiorano. Call Gianni Panico at 416 741 1696. either he'll do it or he'll set you up with Courtney at their other location to do it. Gianni is the maestro and Courtney has learned racecar setups from him. One of the two GT3R's they set up and serviced trackside took first place in class at the 04 Daytona 24, under a "Doncaster Racing" entry. These guys are the best in North America for this and we're lucky to have them here in Toronto.

guykoken,

Why did you not get the AP floating rotors that Fiorano used at the 24 hr of Daytona?.......The floating design is common with the street Brembo packages and they work great with no brake pedal problems or noise, i had it on my last car, three years no problems.

The AP 2 piece rotors will outlast the Cup rotors and are a little bit lighter, they are also less expensive as you will not need to change calipers.

I got the street GT3 alignment Spec for the track from Roland Kussmaul head of Porsche Motorsports in Europe, from there i used a pyrometer to finish dialing in my car.
