Default Which is closer to Gt3 buckets ? Recaro SPG profi XL or Pole Position ?

I was looking at this old thread
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ml#post4648784

but I am still unsure which is the closet match to the euro gt3 bucket seat ? I know I fit well in the gt3 bucket seatt but they are just too expensive so I would like to buy the closest clone I can

any of you had the chance to try all three of them ? gt3 bucket / profi XL / pole position ?

thanks

Phil,

I am surprised they are so expensive. I have seen multiple sets of Euro buckets sell for $3000 - $3500 very recently fully equipped. The belt receptacles and mounts alone are worth a decent amount of money on top of new recaros.

Would seem like almost a wash unless you are buying second hand Recaro seats (which makes sense as well). Sorry I am not much help on your question above but would recommend you sit in seats before you buy them as everyone has different comfort levels. Also, Racetech seats are supposedly amazing if you are cross shopping Recaros.

Lastly, Sparco Ergos have removable halos if you are intending to track frequently. Not sure about fitment but the safety improvement would be wonderful. Good luck on your search!

I'd buy a set of equiped euro bucket for $3000 in a heartbeat...but so far no luck finding any ;(
It's like someone decided to remove them from the surface of the used market... My theory is that Porsche is buying them back and crush them so that nobody can have them LOL :evil laught here:

I thought the GT3 buckets were effectively re-branded Pole Positions....been awhile.

Damn, I think I got my buckets for $2000 or something...this was back like 4 or 5 years ago
