Default GT3 Cup Wiring?

Does anyone know if porsche uses the same wire colors designations across models? I am putting a 997 GT3 Cup engine in a 996 roller and would prefer to adapt the Cup harness so to work with the 996 wiring. If simply matching wires by colors won't work does anyone have 996/997 GT3 Cup wiring diagrams?(996 C2 helpful also) Thanks in advance for any help.

Depending on the MY of the car you’re putting the Cup engine in to, it’s easier to adapt the C2 loom rather than hack the Cup loom IMO. The Cup engine doesn’t run Variocam, nor a MAF, so the standard loom can be configured fairly easily. My car is a 1999-2000 Mk 1 GT3 with a 2009 997 Cup engine installed. It runs the stock Mk 1 GT3/C2/986 Bosch Motronic ECU.
If you think the electronics are tricky, wait until you try to configure the resonance flaps in the inlet manifold ...
