Jim: You looking to buy or sell? I'd call a friend of mine that could probably say what the most recent ones sold went for but he's in Daytona this weekend running one of his cars (HSR had a support race that featured 2.0L and 2.5L 911s and 914s today)

I have a lead on one which has been put away for many years and is not all assembled but mostly complete. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

if it real with a proven providence - it could be worth a lot. I would suggest contacting an expert to value it and hopefully to look at a restoration.
Something like this in concours condition could go for 120-175K depending on history, etc.
let me know if you want an expert to go to. He will charge of course for traveling to see it but it would be worth it if your serious about this.
If you decide to pass i might have a buyer for it

Jim: If I don't run into my buddy at Daytona tomorrow I'll give him a call on Monday and ask him about the ST market.

Here is the most recent ST sale I'm aware of...

All of the details here

Hey Rob, how is that Panamerica car coming? Are you going to Rennsport? I'm taking the Barbour Roadster out.

jim911: I ran into my buddy at Daytona today. He said a restored ST was in the $135K range. Value for one apart would depend on how complete and how much history. If you'd like to discuss it further with him PM me your e-mail address and I'll try to get you two in touch.
