Edit - just reread it.. I went to a PCA event not Weissach's event. Still a very spirited drive home.
Very fun track.. looking to go back again. Just not when it's 37C out

Sorry - yes there was a PCA event summer of 2018. I couldn't make that one. Weissach had an event summer of 2017 as well. That's where I met a PCA member with a black on black 6GT3. Not you?

Not me no. The 2018 PCA event was my first time to A27.
I didn't realize there were two black 6GT3s in the club.. I don't get out to PCA socials that often as we just had kid #2. Hopefully more events next year!

Yes - must be. And yes - please join us for some drives. The current Exec are very driving oriented V.s. Show & Shines. Super good group and lots of great roads. This coming weekend looks sunny...

As per others, the 996 GT3 is sensitive to alignment so make sure the person doing the set up is familiar with the GT3 and/or track car. If stock toe arms, get the locking kit from Tarett Engineering to ensure they dont come loose.
A good LSD helps, so if still stock unit, replace with Guards. Once the car is set up well, it can be very well manged.
When driving at limit, ie slip angle or sliding - never lift, just modulate throttle
