Default Steel to PCCB

The car currently has factory installed steel rotors, I have acquired a set of ceramic rotors and calipers. Would this be a direct bolt-on or do I need to source some additional parts? I thought I read that the uprights are different?

Thanks in advance!

Assuming you have a GT3 based off your signature, what year is it? Also, are those PCCB rotors new or used? If used have they been weighed/measured within spec for carbon content?

Hi John,

The car is an '04 GT3, the PCCB set up has less 1k street miles, no track time.

I think that it is a direct bolt on since you have the appropriate PCCB rotors and calipers.
Test fit one of the fronts to be sure.
Enjoy.

Good decision. I went the other way round and occasionally regret it. If I could afford it, I would go back to PCCB.

At least I have only replaced the rotors and kept the inner mounts to keep the great look and feel of the PCCB.

I'm typically not a fan of black wheels, but BRAVO, well done.
Is the rear wing painted or wrapped?

Cheers

Craig

Is the master cylinder the same on PCCB vs. nonPCCB? If different it would be easy to swap, just something to consider.

Good thread. I drive my GT3 about 1000 miles/year and am losing the heavy iron rotors I installed for the track years ago and am going back to the PCCBs. I have ceramics on my other 911 and love the feel, the low unsprung weight, and no dust!
