Car arrived from the UK yesterday which is just an excuse to post some more pics.
It was the first time I had actually seen the car in the flesh and it didn't disappoint. Now the work begins to fix a couple of things I would like corrected. But overall, its in great condition. Like new inside.

Congrats! This is the most enjoyable road car I've had. Also, blue RHD cars are faster than non-blue or LHD cars
Enjoy driving!!

- total production 686.
- 140 RHD.
- 113 RHD went to the UK.
- of the 113 UK cars 40-50 were white and blue.....but I cannot find a precise number for this.

If you frequent the 991 GT3 forum, you will have possibly seen a similar post to this but for those who do not, I thought I would post an update on my car.
Since I got the car almost 3 months ago, it's had an alignment and the underside ice blasted but most of the time it has just sitting in the garage. Been too busy with business and other cars to give it much attention. This week, I finally found the time to get the car on the road and go for a decent drive. It's a revelation. Much better than I expected. The steering, throttle response and gear change is one of the best combinations I have ever experienced. The ride is much firmer than I would like but still ok on the street. Overall, its a very impressive car and it could very quickly become my favourite which I did not expect at all.
I am looking forward to putting a few more kms on it during the remaining weeks of summer before it goes back into storage for the winter.

Congrats. I also just bought my 996 Gt3 Rs. I bought mine in the Uk just last week. Im from the UK but live in CA. Id love to here more of your import story. My intention was to keep it in the UK and enjoy it when I’m back there, or move back in the next few year. For now it’s in storage. Here’s some pics my brother took delivering it to my storage.

Glad to see all these 6RSes finding their new (and possibly longer-term) homes! I frankly think this is one of the best-driving GT cars around, and the new cars don't hold a candle to the 6's honesty and transparency.
