Oil pressure gage skips intermittent between 1 and 1.5 at idle speed. What could cause this, oil sending sensor?

Might want to go to the Air Cooled 911 Forum....some people on this Forum have never owned an air cooled car, and me, with a 2004 GT3, I'd never got back...first time tis 8,000 RPM...intoxicating.
