<600 mile 04 GT3??
I must be hallucinating, but i'm sure I saw a recent advert here on RL for a SY 04 GT3 with < 600 miles for $120K+
i'm not a buyer, but it was a sweet outlier.

sweet!
$165k ask, and worth it IMHO... new stuff does nothing...

Burning Brakes
Just don't ever drive it- will need new everything that seals- RMS, AC pump, coolant hoses, oil line fittings, tires, brake piston seals, long list!
I'll stick with my GT3, 19k miles by me in 10 years. Used judiciously.

I was shocked when I saw it- post closed before I could nicely indicate what the cost would be to get road worthy. To each their own. I just dropped big $$ into mine but I could not afford the jump to a GT4 and these cars are so involving. I feel money well spent.

I drove GT4s extensively.
They were good, very good, but I bought back my former GT3.
Not as "fast", but much better.

i have both cars and would never sell my GT3 for a newer Porsche. Don’t get me wrong the GT4 is a great car. I love how small it feels and drives. My GT3 still hits a higher top speed on the back straight at the Glen than the GT4. I don’t have an older air cooled car, so the 996 kind of gets me there with noise and feel. Both cars are different but awesome. Chet

just out of curiosity what's your GT3 hit at the Glen on the back straight. I've run across some pretty quick GT4's there and they are all are right with me In the 150-151 range regularly. I haven't been outrun by a GT4 anywhere yet but I figure it's only a matter of time as there seem to be some really potent ones out there. If they really release a 4.0 RS model GT4 I may finally abandon my old girl.

^^^ Wow. I can’t even get close to that speed. I am not as fast as a lot of folks but run 2.12-2.14 in GT3 with back straight speed in the low 150’s.
I am a slower in my GT4 on average, but have been driving the 996 GT3 since 2004 so am really used to it. Top speed of GT4 in back straight for me is around 150mph, but know a lot of faster driver. Also my GT4 has only a mild alignment vs GT3 has stiffer springs and revalved Bilstein’s.
It’s not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison but still feel GT3 faster based on my butt dyno.
