Default 996GT3 Cup vs. 996GT3 Lower Lip - Other than $200 what is the difference?

Hello -

Not having a cup in the barn (yet) to compare against my stock 6GT3, does anyone know the difference between the two part numbers for the lower lip, besides $200?

Cup # 99650598691

Street # 9965059869201c

Thank you!

Regards,

.

The cup extends further forward and thus makes the front end slightly lower at the forward lip.

Also a better snow plow!

Thank you!

Is the Cup unit made of the same type of material?

it’s actually slightly different. The cup material has a smooth texture and is more flexible. The OEM lip is more textured and a bit stiffer/harder.

cup lip every time for me.

Having run cup lips (and replacing them twice a year with regular use) for over 10 years, I decided to order the Joe Tooth Composites one piece which lasted me 2 years until I damaged it coming off the trailer this season. I ordered another one and don't plan on ordering another cup lip. It's stiffer than the cup piece and provides more downforce. Great alternative for comparable pricing to the cup lip.
