Thumbs up New Road and Track

Some good articles in it - worth buying. They have some details on the CGT and GT3 that I haven't seen elsewhere plus a historical article on the 911 that's pretty good.

Interesting fact - optimal launch RPM on a supercup is 7200??? No wonder the clutch on my old car was so grabby (had one put in my old 996)...I wonder how many races they get out of a clutch..

Somewhere I read (can't remember if it was R&T or C&D) that they figured the optimal launch RPM on a street GT3 was around 4200 or 4500 - that sounds like a good way to burn up a clutch too.

BTW, Porsche website has been updated with some new info if you haven't been there lately.
