Default 996.2 GT3 Workshop manual is there such a thing?

So I know its copyright material so no I am not asking where to download it for free. I know the forums frown upon that. But just merely looking to see if what I am looking for exists.

All the workshop manuals i've seen in PDF form have been the same one for 996 99-01 models with some light coverage on 996.1 GT3s

1) Is there a 996.2 GT3 specific Workshop manual from Porsche?
2) Or Is it incorporated into a 996.2 general all trim lines workshop manual?

I have purchased 5 different 996 manuals from all online sources that stated they covered 99-05 and all of them have ended up being the same exact 996 99-01 manual from uk.co in the past couple of weeks.

And the people selling them have been pains about getting refunds but luckily 4 out of the 5 have been refunded.

I just can't seem to find any information so I thought I'd take to the forums.

Any info would be cool.

I don't have an answer for you, but it made me curious. Is this one of the ones you purchased?

There are different wiring diagrams based on year, and several different 'manuals' out there.

Yes it is. I purchased two different ones off of Tradebit that were titled 2002-2005 or MK2 996 and the two I received were the 99-01 manual from workshop . uk from a few years ago.

Same thing off of Emanuel. Both of the "996 GT3" options on there were the same 99-01 manual.

Tradebit refunded me rather easily. Emanuel has been incredibly rude to deal with. Also the two manuals on eBay are also the same 99-01 manual.

I've not seen any 996 GT3 MK2 manual so far to purchase or to download. All download manual versions I know are on 99/01 Carrera+GT3 MK1 and 996 turbo/GT2 with engine M96/70/S
Even Porsche don't sell any CD/DVD or download, only an online version is available.

So if somebody have a secure source let me know...

Headlights. If it has the smooth bottom edge like a boxster it is a 996.1, Notched horizontal on the lower inner edge to meet the hood/front bumper seam is 996.2.
3 for MY in VIN = 996.2

I purchased the factory wiring diagrams for my 04 and I believe they are the same as the same as the base model for the most part. However, there are specific additional sheets included that have GT3 marked on them. One I seem to recall one was the wiring for the transmission cooler. I can look at the binder and list all specific GT3 labeled diagrams if there is any interest.
